Terms & Conditions
School Districts: School District purchases are usually by purchase order. Payment terms are net 30 days. All school orders are billed at the time of shipment.
Individuals: All individual orders must be prepaid by check or credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Orders are shipped within 5-10 business days.
Book and material orders: The rate for shipping is 10% of the total order amount, excluding furniture, with a minimum of $7.50 per shipment to each address. For book and materials orders over $2000, shipping is 5%. Books and materials are shipped direct from our warehouse located at 806F Sharon Drive, Westlake, Ohio. 44145. Every effort is made to ship book and materials orders within 10 days of receipt. Shipments are F.O.B. Westlake, Ohio.
Furniture orders: Furniture is shipped directly from the manufacturer. The rate for shipping is 15% of the furniture portion of the order. Please allow 4-6 weeks for furniture items to ship. Exceptions occur during July, August and September when it may take as much as 90 days for some furniture items to ship due to a high volume of orders.
Out of Stock Items: Occasionally due to high demand we may be temporarily out of a title in our warehouse. These titles will be shown as a back order. Books will be invoiced and shipped as soon as they are received into our warehouse free of charge.
Substitutions: Occasionally publishers take books out of print. When that happens, we reserve the right to make substitutions in our collections and special programs. We will make every effort to provide a book which is similar in reading difficulty level to the title being replaced.
Return and Exchange Policy:
Books and materials: If, for any reason you are not completely satisfied with our books, just return the complete item to us in its original condition for a full refund of the purchase price within 30 days of receipt. Please call us at 1-800-890-7323 (READ) or e-mail to email@example.com for a return authorization number. If an item is defective we will replace it at no charge to you. Just notify us within the first three months of your purchase.
Furniture: You need to notify us if you want to return furniture to us within 30 days of receipt. Call us at 1-800-890-7323 (READ) or by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by USPS mail. We will give you a return authorization number. Do not return furniture to us without writing the return authorization number on the face of the carton or it will be refused by our warehouse. Any furniture returned to us must be in its original condition with all the original parts included. A restocking fee of 15% of the original cost will apply. Extra charges may apply, and will be deducted from the amount due you, if you do not return the furniture in its original packing. You will need to send the item(s) to us pre-paid. If we no longer carry the item, we will be unable to accept your return. No custom products can be returned.
